Who may become a member and what is the committee comprised of?
 

Answer: 
All interested Federal, State, and County Agencies, Tribal Governments, LEPCs, Business and Industry, Media, and all people interested in the environmental quality of the Great Lakes and their tributaries.

What does the committee involved in and what do they do?


 

Answer: 
Each year, the committee hosts a statewide conference held in Northern Michigan, which is recognized as one of the premier conferences conducted in the State.   It is held each year to give updates in spill technologies, mitigation, planning and preparedness, response and recovery issues, and exploring actual events.  Many of the committee’s activities support networking and communication for agencies and organizations involved in spill response.

How do I join the committee and what is the cost?

he committee has established three membership categories with related yearly dues based on calendar year:
 

 

Active Voting (LEPC, MSP-EMD members):  $30 per year 
 

Associate Members (Any interested Party): $25 per year 
 

Sustaining Members (Business and Industry): $50 per year 

 

To join the committee, simply complete a membership form and include applicable payment.
